Stosur - Pironkova

Samantha Stosur will face Tsvetana Pironkova in the quarterfinal of French Open.

This two players took a big benefit from rain delays on French Open. Their 1/8 final matches started on 29^th may and they were finished on 31^st may. Before this delay they both were losing their matches. Stosur was losing from Halep with 5-3 in first set, while Pironkova was losing with 6-2 3-1 from Radwanska but they both managed to make comeback and win.

However I more like Stosur in this clash. She playing much better on this surface than Pironkova.  It is true that Pironkova managed to beat players like Stephens and Radwanska, but both of them played far below their abilities, Stephens simply was terrible, while Radwanska started very well, but today she was very poor but also she had some pains in her hand and she couldn’t give her best.

Stosur on the other side played very well against Halep, she had a control in her service games, won 80% points on her first serve and allowed  Halep only one break of serve which is amazing result as Halep is one of the best returner on wta tour.  I think she will also hold initiative in this game too, she playing more aggressive than Pironkova and if she play like she played today I think she could win in 2 sets.
