Aalesund played an open match against Sandefjord, but the team’s players wanted the win most in the end, thereby claiming their fourth straight victory in all competitions after triumphing in the cup last week as well. Though they conceded chances, they stopped after conceding one goal, before a late winning effort saw them triumph 3-1 on the weekend. Sarpsborg 08 on the other hand dominated their league match, content to minimising the opportunities for the opponents, while creating plenty themselves. The 3-0 win did not flatter them in any way. The three points takes them to fourth position in the league, as they currently stand with three wins and only one loss. Aalesund suffered a horrific start, but an early change of management has seen them rise rapidly up the table. Currently, they stand with three consecutive league victories, home and away, and I reckon they have a good opportunity to grab another win here. Over 2.5.
