Al Dhafra have started very badly the league season and they have 4 defeats in a row. However, in the first 3 rounds they have faced teams who finished in top 6 last season, while Al Sharjah is much improved from the last season. Al Dhafra have outplayed Al Sharjah anyway and I don't understand how they didn't scored at least two goals in that match. Omar Khribin converted a penalty, but otherwise he had a very bad day at the office by missing all the other chances he had. Omar Khribin had at least 4 clear cut-chances against Sharjah. He's a quality striker and I think he will bounce back today. El Adoua is still injured, but top scorer Makhte Diop is available for selection. Along with Khribin they can put a lot of problems to Kalba's defence. Kalba are a newly promoted side, they are not a bad side and they have already won a game this season in the first round against another relegation candidate, Dibba. They have lost against Al Jazira last round which was expected. Romanian striker Mihai Costea have been replaced by the Brazilian veteran Ciel. Another summer signing Modibo Maiga have some medical problems and he's in doubt for this match, while key defender Yaser Al Juneibi is suspended. Another defender Ali Al Saadi picked up a small injury and he's doubtful as well. Those missing should affect a little bit the defensive system of Kalba which is not great at all. As I have said before Dhafra have played very well last round, they were just unlucky in front of the goal and the Sharjah keeper was the man of the match. If Diop and especially Khribin will be much more clinical in front of the goal I think the home side can win this match and can score a couple of goals as well.
