Bodo/Glimt did not impress in the first match of season, losing 3-1 to Sandefjord, a newly promoted side. In a match that should suit them well, enabling them to soak up pressure before going on the counter with rapid wingers, they nonetheless were unable to create many chances. They will want to work on that for the upcoming fixtures. Molde also lost their league debut this season, in a 2-1 defeat to Odd. Last year’s bronze medallists, and cup-runners up, held Molde even for most of the first half, but Molde came back in the second half to dominate play and create plenty of chances, only to see a late equaliser be lost to an even later winner for their opponents. Molde are the stronger team, despite being away for this game. The way they dominated against Odd proves that they have what it takes to win, including winning this match against Bodo/Glimt.
