After a frustrating 0-0 draw at Anfield, Liverpool are set to square off with Bolton Wanderers at the Macron Stadium.
Bolton's squad is depleted by injuries, with a hamstring tear seeing Darren Pratley join the likes of Adam Bogdan, Emile Heskey, Marc Tierney, Mark Davies and Max Clayton on the sidelines, while Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard is fit to make his 700th club appearance after being rested against West Ham at the weekend because of a tight hamstring.
The game at Anfield 10 days ago ended 0-0 as Bolton were able to hold on despite Liverpool’s nine shots on target. Bolton did not register a single shot on goal!
Liverpool have not lost a game in since the middle of December, not including the extra-time loss to Chelsea last week, and have only conceded two goals in their last six in all competitions, both against Chelsea, and one of them came in that extra-time loss.
