Chelsea vs Aston Villa

Big game for both teams as this underachieving pair go toe to toe.

Chelsea are having a miserable campaign so far and one wonders whether they can recover and salvage a top four spot as defending the title seems increasingly unlikely in each passing week.

As for Aston Villa, they have lost four games in a row and they will be looking to pounce of a less than stellar Chelsea side.

Ivanovic will be out for this clash and despite much of the blame being levelled at him for their defensive woes I still think Chelsea aren't solid enough to keep a clean sheet here.

Aston Villa, despite their poor run of results has been reliable for goals and have scored in their last 4 away games in the top flight. In fact, their last 2 away games has seen them score at 2 goals a piece. They raced to a two goal lead against Leicester City but eventual surrendered all three points in a 3-2 loss while a 3-2 loss to Liverpool followed in their penultimate game before the international break.
