Den Haag - PSV

ADO Den Haag will be hoping that their pre season results aren’t a forecast for how their domestic season will pan out. They won their opening pre season match against Scheveningen, but then lost 3 on the bounce against the likes of Burton Albion, Glenclerbirligi, and Veria. They did manage to redeem themselves a bit on Friday though, when they beat Mallorca 1-0 at home. However, ADO Den Haag’s losses are nothing in comparison to PSV’s. Star striker Memphis Depay has been snapped up by Manchester United, whilst versatile and talented midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has made the switch to Newcastle. Despite their squad losses, they still have a much better squad than Den Haag, which is evident by the fact that they won the Eredivisie last season and beat Groningen to the Dutch Super Cup on Sunday. Their 3-0 win was comprehensive, and Luuk De Jong showed he was ready to step up and into the shoes of Memphis Depay with 2 well taken goals. I think PSV will win this match to kickstart their title defence, so I’m going for a PSV -1,5 Asian Handicap.
