Federer beat him in Cincinnati few weeks ago, in straight sets. But this is a 5sets match, and a slower surface.

Novak beat him early this year in Wimbledon's final 3-1, that is Federer favourite surface.

Federer in Wimbledon was looking the favourite for a lot of peoples because of his level showed in the tournament and the way he played, while Djoker didn't played amazing in the tournament. But at the end, Djoker beat him easyly in the final.
Here I hear a lot of people eoples saying Federer is playing so well actually, he is unbeatable, things like that, exactly the same stuff hearing at Wimbledon but I see the "same stuff" to happen here once again.

Last time Federer beat Djokovic in a Major Finals it was in 2012, since that Djoker beat him twice in a row on a grand stage Final.
Only Wawrinka beat Djokovic in this year Rolland Garros. Credit to him as Djokovic was playing his best tennis, but Wawrinka also.

The difference here is that Djokovic will play his best tennis for sure, but also Federer will probably. So why no chance for Federer if both played their best tennis? Only because a Federer at %100 can't beat a Djokovic at %100 in a 5sets matches, he don't have the game for.

Djokovic is mentally stronger and physically stronger.
He already bet Fed twice here since 2010 (I'm not looking before, no point) and I expect him to win for the 3rd time Fed in the US Open and I expect him to win his 3rd GC of the year, also his second US Open.
