Dundalk remain on top of the SSE Airtricity League table however their lead has been cut to just two points over their nearest challengers Cork City who they face on Friday evening at Turner’s Cross. This is indeed Dundalk’s second match in days and will be hoping to get back to winning ways ahead of the clash with Cork City.
Dundalk will be without Gary Rogers(GK) who misses out through suspension after being sent off on Friday evening which leaves Gabriel Sava will get his first league start of the campaign in nets. Jake Kelly made his return to the squad on Friday evening after injury while captain Stephen O’Donnell could make a return to the starting XI having featured from the bench over the last 3 weeks.
Galway have not beaten Dundalk in their last ten attempts. This will be the 74th meeting between these two sides with Dundalk haven kept clean sheets against the Tribesmen for 34 of those games, but they conceded in their last three meetings.
Prediction: 3:2
