Dynamo lead the Ukrainian Premier League at the winter break, and are taking on EA Guingamp for a place in the UEFA Europa League round of 16. It was an unlucky defeat in the first leg, because Dynamo led 1-0 until the 72nd minute and played with 10 men for almost an hour.
Guingamp have failed to score in 2 of their last 3 away European games, going on to draw 1 and lose 1 of these matches, while Dynamo Kiev have four men out, through suspension (Yarmolenko, Belhanda, Sydorchuk) and injury (Makarenko, who also missed the first leg). Dieumerci Mbokani may be back after recovering from a hip injury sustained on AFCON duty with DR Congo, but whether he is fit enough to start remains unclear. Jeremain Lens, who went off injured just minutes into the first match, is another doubt.
