Elfsborg - Helsingborg

Elfsborg played 2-2 at home against Malmo in the top fight last weekend. They are always very strong and reliable at home but this time they will miss their midfield engine Marcus Rohden who is suspended after three yellow cards. I am not sure Elfsborg will have the capacity to join Malmo and Goteborg in the title race. If they are to do that, they need to win games like this one. Helsingborgs lost 1-2 at home against Gefle. In the second half, the striker Mikael Dahlberg came in after half time and it was obvious how much he means for the team. His has been injured during the spring and Helsingborgs offensive improves a lot with him. Helsingborgs, like several other teams in Allsvenskan this year, is building a partially new team and might therefore perform a bit uneven. There is no stability there. They could very well follow up the surprise defeat at home against Gefle with a win away against Elfsborg. For this to happen, they would have to perform on the very top of their ability. More likely is the scenario that Elfsborg will control the game and gradually push back Helsingborgs in the lap of their own goal keeper. Pick over 3.5 goals.
