FC Emmen lost quite a lot of important players in the summer but seems to be getting by with the replacements. They conceded their first goals of the season against FC Den Bosch, but in the other matches their defense was quite strong. Last good season was unexpected, but if this season ends up being quite nice aswell they have something to build on. FC Emmen has a bit more quality than Helmond Sport and that added to the home advantage should mean a win for them.
Helmond Sport hasn't conceded a lot yet and got a few points early in the season. But the team hasn't really been tested yet. They have only played teams that are expected in the bottom half of the Jupiler League. FC Emmen and NAC Breda next week should be a real test. And looking at how hard they had to work for the points they took from small teams it doesn't seem likely Helmond Sport will do well against the big teams. So a loss against FC Emmen could be happening.
