The Toffees finally got themselves going under Roberto Martinez this term and have won six of their last nine in the top flight. They have lost two of their last three though, but their mini slump was arrested last weekend with a 2-1 win at West Ham. The Toffees have failed to beat Spurs in their last four meetings in the league, however, they are running with solid form on Merseyside at the moment having won four of their last five there. They have lost just one of their last nine on home turf, so will give Tottenham a rough time. Everton have taken four clean sheets in their last five home games.
Tottenham have the worst defensive record of the top ten sides in the Premier League. So battling their way to a top five finish is going to be tough for them. Spurs have won just one of their last four games in the top flight, and away from home, they are one of the most unreliable teams around at the moment.
Pewdiction: 2-0
