Hertha Berlin got their campaign off to a winning start on Saturday, with a Salomon Kalou penalty just after half time making the difference in a 1-0 victory at Augsburg. This positive start comes after they made it through the first round of the DFP Pokal the previous Monday, and will have the Hertha Berlin fans confident that they can achieve a better result than last season. Werder Bremen didn't have such a successful first game of the season, despite their excellent pre season campaign.
