First tip of the day as it's UEFA Champions League playoff round between Qarabag and Copenhagen. This will be a very tough trip for Copenhagen. Qarabag is the favourite team to win this one as they are absolutely incredible when playing at home but Copenhagen is a dangerous team. Both teams usually don't play winning a lot of corners and this line seems to be too high. Also, this should be a close game (under is priced 1,60) without a lot of big chances to score as both teams will focus on defense. To explain this tip, I will use both teams european matches as domestic league matches are different. What I mean is that Qarabag starts as big favourite in every match in Azerbaijan (the same of Copenaghen in Denmark) and they usually collect more corners than their opponents. In the previous european matches, Qarabag won very few amount of corner (I'm talking about last year that they have played Europa League) conceding even few amount too. In Europe, there is not the same of domestic leagues and things change a lot.
In fact, Qarabag have played 4 matches in Europe this season. They collected 2 corners against Samtredia at home and 3 away from home. After those matches, they have played at home against Sheriff winning 9 corners (they had the total control of the match, dominating almost from the beginning as Sheriff played very defensive minded and they obviously had big amount of corners). That was the only match where they collected a lot of corners as in the 2nd leg, they collected only 4 corners. I don't expect them to collect a lot of corners today...this will be a very balanced game much more different than the one against Sheriff at home. As I said before, Qarabag is the favourite team to win but there is not value on them to win. Odds are very high because Copenhagen it's a very dangerous team (they have better players than Qarabag)...the only advantage will be an huge boost for the home side and that's why I see them favourite (and the other reason is Copenhagen bad form).
Copenhagen, on the other hand, won 3 corners away from home against Zilina and 5 corners at home against the same opponent. The 2nd playoff round was against Vardar...they collected only 2 corners away from home and they did even worse at home as they collected only a corner. Also, they are playing very bad at the moment attacking not good...this will be a problem against Qarabag defense.
As you can see, both teams don't gain a lot of corners per game. Qarabag should have more control of this game but they will not dominate this one. I'm expecting a balanced ball possession (something like 55-45/52-48) with not a lot of chances to score. Qarabag will focus to not concede and Copenhagen will have hard times playing in Azerbaijan. Line for corners is a little bit too high considering how these two teams play, so I see value.
