The Andalucian side look very short here at 1/2 for numerous reasons. Firstly they have been pretty awful in the league so far and are bottom of the table after 5 games. They've lost both home games in the league this season, which is already more than they suffered in all of last season and were beaten 2-0 away to previously winless and newly promoted Las Palmas in midweek. These are certainly worrying times for Unai Emery and his team who would have had ambitions of finishing in the top four having narrowly missed out last year despite still qualifying for the Champions League via a 2nd straight Europa League triumph. Rayo also tend to travel well and will certainly fancy dishing out more punishment on Sevilla. They won a very impressive 7 away games in La Liga last season and have already done what Sevilla couldn't do this year and win on Gran Canaria against Las Palmas. Sevilla win.
