Stabaek were at the unlucky team at the receiving end of an attack minded Start side in the last league round, something for which Stabaek had no answer. Despite a lively attack – especially Adama Diomande and Yassine El Ghanassy created chances. However, in the end they had conceded four, while they only scored once. Sarpsborg 08 also suffered a defeat in the last round, losing 4-1 to an animated Molde side. That was the fifth winless game for the side, four of which have been defeats. That run has also seen them drop steadily in the table, and they are now eleventh, with only three points between them and the relegation zone. Neither side convinced in the last round, but Stabaek is the side that most quickly and consistently get back on their feet after poor performances. Sarpsborg 08 have been struggling for a prolonged period now, their last win in May. I reckon Stabaek are favourites to win here.
