Tottenham slipped up at Crystal Palace last week, falling to a 2-1 defeat, and looked like they were going to follow that up with another underwhelming display in an FA Cup replay with Burnley in midweek. After going 2 goals down within 7 minutes, however, they turned the game on its head and went on to win 4-2. That result should have given them a timely boost ahead of the visit of Sunderland here. The visitors have lost 3 of their last 4 games, and will set up here to shut Spurs out, hoping to keep it at 0-0 for as long as possible before nicking a goal. That failed against Liverpool last time out and might well fail once again here.
