Tromso - Valerenga

Tromso played a decent match against Mjondalen on the weekend, leading first 2-0 and then 3-1 after they exploited mistakes in the back four. However, through mistakes of their own, they handed Mjondalen a lifeline to get back into the match, until they saw all points slip after they conceded a late winner. They still need to improve their defensive record if they are to stay up this for another season at the top level. Valerenga dominated the match against Stabaek. Getting off to another flying start, they had three clear chances within five minutes, but failed to convert on all of them. As the game went on, and their opponents were reduced to ten men, they fastened their grip, but were still unable to score, instead conceding twice, hence losing 2-0. Valerenga currently stand with two losses and a draw in the last three matches, as well as an early exit from the cup against lower level competition. However, they played solidly against Stabaek, dominating their opponents, and showing that they belong on the upper half of the table. My pick is over 3.5 goals.
